Using the Swiss Ball for Better Posture and Increased Strength
For individuals looking for better posture and increased flexibility and strength, nothing could be easier than training with a Swiss ball.
WHAT IS A SWISS BALL?
The Swiss ball, also called the Stability ball, Exercise ball, Flexibility ball or other names, is a large, inflated, rubber ball. The Swiss ball was originally created in Italy in the 1960's and provides instability or resistance which requires the user to rely on 'core' muscles to retain balance - thus improving strength and flexibility of those muscles.
A Swiss doctor studied its use in a clinical setting by incorporating the ball in rehabilitation therapy. While it is still used in physiotherapy it has also become known in the general fitness world as an adaptable and enjoyable addition to routines building strength, flexibility and proper posture. [intel core processor]
WHO CAN USE THE SWISS BALL?
Because the Swiss ball is so easy to use and enjoyable, it is able to be used by almost everyone, young or old. However, because the Swiss ball is designed to create instability (thus forcing the body's own muscles to be employed) there is a need for caution. The elderly, injured, pregnant women or anyone otherwise subject to a lack of stability or increased risk of falling, should not use the Swiss ball without personal instruction and care.
When choosing a Swiss ball it is important to choose the size appropriate to your height as well as the intended use. Determine what technique you plan to use the Swiss ball for before purchasing your own ball.
HOW DO YOU USE A SWISS BALL?
If you are concerned about lower back pain or posture you can use the Swiss ball as an alternative to a regular chair. Sedentary workers find that certain muscles in the back become weak over time and are easily strained. Sitting on the Swiss ball will improve your 'core strength' by forcing the unused muscles to maintain balance. [intel core processor]
There are many videos and books as well as group classes that teach routines targeting different muscle groups. The Swiss ball has been used in therapy as well as for professional athletes so you are sure to find a method suitable for your experience and needs.
While it is possible to use the Swiss ball on your own at home or the office (and is recommended as an easy way to fit in your workout) it is helpful to have professional instruction when learning to use the ball correctly. Having someone guide you into proper position will show you what the proper alignment feels like.
Performing warm up exercises is also recommended before beginning a Swiss ball routine. Using the Swiss ball properly will increase the benefits you receive with regular use. No matter what your fitness level, try it out and see how much fun the Swiss ball can be!
Is Your Belief System Working?
A core belief is something we accept as true, without question, without argument. As core beliefs accumulate over the years they eventually make up a system that functions in much the same way as a computer's operating system. Running in the background at such a discreet level, we are usually not even aware it is there.
As children our belief system developed as a result of a great many factors, including but not limited to, the way we were influenced by our parents, siblings and other significant people in our lives. By the time we reach adulthood we have some pretty fixed opinions of ourselves and the world around us. And once installed, these beliefs are rarely updated unless the whole system crashes! [system intel core]
If our core beliefs are for the most part positive and empowering it is reflected in our attitudes, behavior and performance.
Of course the reverse is also true. If we run predominantly negative beliefs our attitudes and behaviors are severely compromised, crippling our potential for success and happiness.
So, how can we change ideas and beliefs we are most likely not even aware of?
If there is a repeating problem in some area of your life, it is usually a good indication that you are entertaining a false or limiting belief.
Before a belief system can be changed or improved, however, it is important to first understand a little about how a belief system works.
Belief systems are nothing more than repetitive thoughts that have come to be so automatic; you don't even notice them anymore. [system intel core]
The subconscious mind tends to use a fixed, automatic pattern put in place at a very early age. Once in place, our belief system will unconsciously attract the people and circumstances that validate it. As negative beliefs accumulate over the years and become part of the system, it gets easier to collect 'evidence' that appears to support those beliefs and harder to see any evidence to the contrary!
With an unbalanced negative belief system in place, our sense of reality can get so tied up, polarized and distorted it is almost impossible to see which beliefs are working and which are holding us back.
False beliefs can also set up conditions for a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' where the expected result or prediction is more likely to happen because of the things done to prepare for it. Keep in mind that we are always on the lookout for reasons to validate our beliefs.
Before trying to change an unwanted belief it is helpful to acknowledge the positive intention behind it when it was first installed. After all, most negative beliefs were originally installed to protect us and were relevant to what was going on at the time.
The problem arises when we hold onto these beliefs even though they may not hold true for the same situations today.
If you are serious about updating your belief system, avoid getting sidetracked by the temptation to blame someone else for inserting false beliefs into your system. It's not important where the beliefs come from, what is important is that we get rid of or transform these beliefs into something useful today.
Remember, the goal here is to build a belief system that will create and send out the right vibrations. Vibrations that will attract the people and circumstances necessary to create the experiences we desire.
Do the Differences in CPUs Really Matter?
CPU manufacturing is one of the most competitive areas of computer world. In the end, the overall performance of your laptop or your desktop depends on your central processing unit. Parallel to the demands of the users, we can say that CPUs traveled a long way from 386s to P4s and AMDs.
The cache is generally the most decisive factor in the tradeoff equation between the price and performance. Considering the L2 cache on some of the chips, you can easily understand that Athlon, P4 and PIII, having 256K or more L2 cache are the once with higher performance, in other words power chips.
[Cpu intel core]
Looking at the budget chips, you immediately notice that Celeron has 128K and the Duron only has 64K. Celeron is actually almost like a PIII with half the cache disabled. These numbers shows that the main budget issue for CPU manufacturers is to put enough cash on the chip.
You should consider the difference between the bus speeds: in the case of Athlon and P4, the bus speed between the Cache and the CPU can be 200 or 400 MHz respectively. This can give your system a major boost when you are using cache intensive utilities. The new CPUs are coming out with quad speed pushes and base 200MHz which results with 800MHz FSB like the new P4.
The numbers you would see under the name “Micron” in a CPU comparison table is basically the size of the transistors. As the number get smaller, the manufacturers can put more and more on the CPU die. The smaller transistors you have on your CPU, the smaller the CPU die becomes. The smaller the CPU die, less power is required and less heat is produced. [Cpu intel core]
The CPU instruction set is the total code which tells your CPU how to process its data. The more sets you have on your CPU, the more efficient it is most likely to be. However, on this point Intel (Pentium) and AMD does not follow the same path. Intel made the first attempt to improve the basic instruction set by adding the MMX support for multimedia.
The difference's between the CPU's are getting smaller as each company sees the advantages of their rivals technology and tries to either use or emulate it. It is really hard to choose which one is better. So a good advice would be let your wallet decide which CPU your system will use.

How Soon Will Uavs Make Fighter Pilots Obsolete?
How Soon Will Uavs Make Fighter Pilots Obsolete? [intel core processor] Unmanned Aerial Vehicles are rapidly making human fighter pilots obsolete. Might be better to use a UAV and to that have it flown by a 16-year old video game player, which will in turn be used to program the next generation of Artificial Intelligent robotic tactical UAVs. How can this be happening so fast? Well, it is not really happening very fast, as they have had drones for decades and missiles for at least six decades. Artificial Intelligence is making the difference. Old mainframes with tape drives did not learn like in Artificial Intelligence of today, but you must remember, you can program a tic-tac-toe game into a computer and it will never lose, only draw. It will never lose. MIT proved that, but if you think on it; you will know this simply be reasoning as tic-tac-toe is a simple game with simple rules. This is basic Tinker Toy Logic, it is all one’s and zero’s, there is an X in cell or grid 1, “0” in cells 4 and 5 the rest are empty. There are only 6 possible answers. If the computer is the “X’s” it chooses grid space 6, to block. You chose you “0” in box or grid space 3, it blocks space seven draw. If it is playing a human and the human messes up one time in any game the computer will win that game. The computer does not get tired and will play until you unplug it. You will eventually mess up, you are human and to be human is to error. If you as a fighter pilot choose a different game, it h[intel core processor]as most likely encountered or been programmed it. If you are totally creative you may choose a maneuver, strategy or game it does not recognize or has not been programmed for and you might win? But what if it is relaying the data to other units in the battlespace and over all system, which the computer UAV now knows that; that did not work and will disengage if encountered until it has been programmed for such as maneuver? Whereas if you lose, it wins, you are dead and it now knows it can beat you if you do that. I believe we can design a computer better than the average human and since there are so few innovators in any walk of life, granted fighter pilots, more than other sectors; you may lose a few dogfights, but will still lose the war to the UAVs with artificial intelligence. Eventually the human cannot win, and you may wish to think bragging about being 100% human now. There ain’t a whole lot that is very special about this carbon based biped. Consider these thoughts when designing UAVs with artificial intelligence. Aliases In Intellicad
Aliases In Intellicad [intel core extreme] If you want to start a command, then you can click on abutton in one of the toolbars. But you can also type akey in the keyboard. Suppose you want to start the Line command. You canclick on the Line button in the Draw 2D toolbar. Butyou can also press the L key. Press the L key and press the right mouse button. Orthe Enter key. And the Line command is started. You cannow draw a line or lines. The L key. That's called an alias. It's an alias forthe Line command. There are many aliases in IntelliCAD.You can have a look at them.[intel core extreme] Click on Tools in the menu bar and on Customize in thepull down menu. The Customize dialog box opens. In itare four tabs. Click on the Aliases tab. You'll see two list boxes. Inthe listbox at the left are all the aliases. In theother listbox are the commands. Click on an alias in the list box at the left. Thecommand that belongs to the alias will be highlightedin the list box at the right. All the aliases are stored in the IntelliCAD program. But you can change that. Maybe you want to change analias. Click on the New button. The Alias edit box below thelist box at the left will be activated. Here you cantype the name of the new alias. Next select a command in the list box at the right. Andthen lick on the Assign button. The command is nowassigned to the new alias. You can check what command is activated by using analias. Click on the name of an alias in the list box atthe left. The command is highlighted. In the Customize dialog box you find the New button, the Delete button, and the Assign button. You know howyou can use the New button and the Assign button. The Delete button can be used to delete an alias.Select the alias in the list box at the left. Nextclick on the Delete button. At the bottom of the dialog box are four more buttons. There you find the Close button, the Import button, theExport button, and the Rest button. The Close button is clicked to close the Customizedialog box. You were doing something with aliases andnow you want to go back to IntelliCAD.[intel core extreme] Let's first talk about the Export button. You havecreated your own aliases. And now you want to save themin a file. Click on the Export button. The Select Alias Filedialog box opens., In it you can give the alias file aname and select a folder. The alias file can be saved in two formats. You cansave it in the ICA format or you can save it in the PGPformat. That's an AutoCAD format. This is how these files look. I only give the firstfive lines of each file. You can recognize the aliasand the command that's connected to it. ICA file [IntelliCAD Custom Alias File] nAliases=247[Alias-0] Alias=3A LocalCommand=3DARRAY GlobalCommand=_3DARRAY PGP file ; BricsCad Generated PGP file. 3A,*3DARRAY3DFACE,*FACE3DLINE,*LINE Now the Insert command. You have created your ownaliases. And you have saved them in a file. Now youwant to use that file. Click on the Import button. The Select Alias Filedialog box opens., You can now select your alias file.It is opened and used. All the aliases are generated by the IntelliCADprogram. They are not stored in a file. And now youhave created your own aliases. If you want to go back to the way as generated byIntelliCAD, then click on the Rest button. The aliasesyou created are removed. Aliases. As you can see. It has nothing to do with thesecret service. It has everything to do withnIntelliCAD. It is in fact a feature that is also found in AutoCAD.Some users prefer to use the keyboard to start acommand. True. It's quicker.
